Tim Dockerty
Timothy is a lifelong resident of Berrien County . He has worked extensively with seniors since childhood when he would go to the nursing home that his parents managed. At one time or another, he has worked in every position in our scope of service, including maintenance, office, housekeeping, resident care, and management. He has been involved with Woodland Terrace since it’s inception in 1997. Upon completion of his business degree at Western Michigan University , he worked in South Bend, Indiana for a manufacturer. After spending two years there, he realized that he preferred working with seniors. In 1999, he returned to work at Woodland Terrace full-time. In 2000, he became Executive Director of our Bridgman campus. In that role, he helped establish structure and accountability in our care to our residents. He also became one of the first to be a Certified Executive Director by the Assisted Living Federation of America. In January 2009, he became CEO of Woodland Terrace. In this position, it is his expectation to do everything in our power to “improve the lives of seniors on a daily basis”.

He helped the department to develop many appetizing and health-conscious menus, and to be versatile and willing to work with residents to make sure their nutritional needs are tastefully met. Todd has continued his education to become a certified executive director for assisted living communities.
